Johanna Badenhorst offers comprehensive diagnostic assessments for Adult ADHD and Autism (or the exploration of neurotypes) either in-person or via telehealth, designed to provide thorough insights and personalised recommendations. Johanna has a special interest in high-masking female Autism and ADHD presentations.

This service includes a detailed report, covering your background, diagnostic criteria, and test results, all clearly presented with graphs and detailed recommendations.

Cost for Comprehensive Assessment of Autism and ADHD: $2555 (as of January 2025).

The Diagnostic Assessment Process:

Assessments take place over several sessions, as outlined below:

• Autism/ADHD Assessment Intake Session:

  • Duration: 50 minutes

  • Cost: $285

• Diagnostic Interview Sessions:

  • Duration: 4 hours total (can be done in one session or 2 x 2-hour sessions)

  • Cost: $ 2000

• Feedback Session:

  • Duration: 50 minutes, scheduled rouhghly 6 weeks post-assessment

  • Cost: $270

Clients will also be required to complete additional online questionnaires between assessments.

ADHD or Autism-only Assessments:

Typically, this involves:

• A 2 diagnostic assessment session and any additional time required to complete the assessment.

• Specific questionnaires will be used, relevant to the neurotype being assessed.

• The intake and feedback session process remains as described above.

• ADHD assessment and comprehensive report: $1755

• Autism assessment and comprehensive report: $1955.

Important Notes:

• Johanna generally screens for both ADHD and Autism during the first evaluation. If deemed appropriate, you’ll have the option to proceed with assessments for both, but the decision remains yours.

• Johanna does not have prescribing rights. If medication is required after an ADHD assessment, this can be arranged through a psychiatrist or you may choose to go to a psychiatrist directly for ADHD assessment.

• Reports are not written for NDIS purposes, so it is not guaranteed they will be accepted by NDIS.

• We ask clients to book all the appointments at the outset via telehealth (and limited in-person may be available).

• NDIS Support Letter is an additional service charged at $350

Payment:

A full payment is required for all assessments at the time of the session (and generally paid in three as described above). Medicare rebates are not available; however, clients under 25 may be eligible if referred by a paediatrician or psychiatrist.
